Two Sessions...
There are two great sessions on this first weekend in October. On Saturday the 4th, I will be joined by adults and kids at O'Shea's Olde Inne at 348 Main Street (Rte 28) in West Dennis from 1:30 to 4:30. It's a fun all inclusive session of fiddle tunes and songs.
On Sunday the 5th, at The Chatham Squire (487 Main Street, Chatham) from 5 to 7 I'll be joined by Greg Johnson on guitar and Torrin Ryan on Uilleann pipes. Torrin won the All Ireland competition for slow airs on the pipes in 2013. This video isn't Torrin, but will give you an idea of the Uilleann pipes if you haven't heard them before.

Cape Breton Comes to Cape Cod...
Two of my favorite Cape Breton musicians are coming to Cape Cod on Saturday, September 27th. Cape Breton music is known for its high energy fiddle and piano music and Troy MacGillivray and Andrea Beaton are two of the best. They will be at The Chatham Fiddle Company at 7:30. Call Rose Clancy for details 917-416-0139. http://www.chathamfiddlecompany.com

Music on Cape Cod...
There are so many opportunities to see and participate in musical activities on Cape Cod. One of my favorites is Saturdays at O'Shea's Olde Inne at 348 Main Street (Rte 28) in West Dennis. Along with Greg Johnson, I host a "Folk Session" from 1:30 to 4:30. It's a mix of songs and fiddle tunes. Open to all levels and ages of musicians, the first Saturday of the month is particularly kid friendly.
